With the purpose of improving capacity of processing, providing and sharing environmental information to the source points at national level, from September 12 - 14, 2007, Vietnam INFOTERRA, under the National Center for Scientific and Technological Information, Ministry of Science and Technology organized training course on environmental information for Vietnam INFOTERRA Network’s Members in Hanoi City.
Thirty trainees participating in the training course came from
different departments of Science and Technology (DOSTs); departments of Natural Resources and Environment (DONREs) at provinces; environmental research institutions and universities.
Trainees of the training course have learned subjects on sustainable development; processing, providing and sharing environmental information and environmental management during the integration period. The knowledge and understanding which trainees have gained during the training time would be helpful for their work in the future.
After the course the trainees were certificated by Director National Center for Scientific and Technological Information.
